The island of Capri is located at 17 nautical miles south of Naples and the Sorrento peninsula 3. It is approximately 6 km long and wide by 1.2 to 2.8 km. It covers an area of approximately 10 sq km, of which 4 belong to the town of Capri and 6 to the town of Anacapri. Every year thousands of tourists visit Capri which is considered one of the seven wonders of the Mediterranean for its splendid sea, for its enchanting natural beauty and for its beautiful landscapes. In Capri, you can also visit the Blue Grotto and the Faraglioni, Villa Jovis, the cornerstone of Augustus and Villa S.       by car:
      A3 motorway (Napoli - Salerno), exit at Castellammare di Stabia, then follow the SS145 to Sorrento for about 23 km along several municipalities above Sorrento (Vico Equense, Seiano, Meta di Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento and Sant'Agnello); joints Sorrento follow the signs to the port from where many ferries and hydrofoils to the island of Capri;
   A3 motorway (direction Salerno - Napoli), exit at Naples port area where you go by sea and reach the pier or wharf Beverello Mergellina from where many ferries and hydrofoils to the island of Capri. 
    

       by train: 
      Circumvesuviana (Napoli - Sorrento) stop in Sorrento, where you take the bus or taxi to the port from where many ferries and hydrofoils to the island of Capri;
      Circumvesuviana (direction Sorrento-Napoli) stop at Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, where you take the bus or taxi that will take you to the pier or wharf Beverello Mergellina from where many ferries and hydrofoils to the island of Capri;
      Circumvesuviana (direction Poggiomarino-Napoli) stop at Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, where you take the bus or taxi that will take you to the pier or wharf Beverello Mergellina from where many ferries and hydrofoils to the island of Capri.
